Inspired by children to provide a resource for meeting their play needs today and beyond.
Today ATA’s members are involved in a large variety of children’s products ranging across toys, hobbies, nursery, clothing, confectionery, games (board, electronic & video), CDs, books, collectibles, car safety, furniture, sports, lifestyle & licensed products. This reflects the increasing diversification of ATA’s membership as they develop to meet the changing needs of a quickly evolving society.
Also while children’s products are the initial focus, this often diversifies into the wider lifestyle & licensed product ranges for adults.
ATA has a major role in delivering information and services that extend the performance of the industry sectors as they serve the changing needs of the consumer – at an individual level, a national level and as a global industry.
Global Toy Industry Statement—Keep Toys Tariff-Free
We, the undersigned members of the global toy industry, reaffirm our commitment to ensuring toys are tariff-free around the world, in accordance with the principles set forth in the 1994 Uruguay GATT and subsequent WTO rulings. Toys are “essential products” for children and ensure play, learning, and a healthy, happy childhood. #KeepToysTariff-Free
