Licensed Property of the Year Awards

The Licensed Property of the Year Award is a REFLECTIVE award acknowledging the achievements of the property in the previous year to the Fair. The License Property of the Year is awarded to the License Property Owner or agent of the Property. All entries must have been an active License property in the market in the year prior to the Fair.

The Licensed Property of the Year Awards consist of the following categories:

    • Boys Licensed Property
    • Girls Licensed Property
    • Pre-School Licensed Property
    • Boutique License
    • Best Promotional Campaign 

Entry Criteria

Only Licensors or Licensing Agents can submit entries. The award is reflective and must be an active License in the previous year to the Fair. 

 

Judging Criteria

Boys License, Girls License, Pre-School License and Best Promotional Campaign - applications will be judged on:

  • Award must be for a Children's License (Age 0-15)
  • Property must be relevant in the previous year to the Fair as this award is reflective
  • Only Licensors / Agents who are engaged with the fair can make submissions
  • License must have gained more broad based support cross category
  • License had a strong appeal to its target market
  • License or core element (for example art design, TV programme, movie or event etc.) was creative, impactful and relevant to the Australian market
  • License was executed well with in store displays

Boutique License of the Year – Entertaiment & Character - applications will be judged on:

  • Award must be for a Children's License (Age 0-15)
  • Property must be relevant in the previous year to the Fair as this award is reflective
  • Retail Sales of $5 million or less
  • Only Licensors / Agents who are engaged with the fair can make submissions
  • License had a strong appeal to its target market
  • License or core element (for example art design or event etc.) was creative, impactful and relevant to the Australian market
  • License was executed well with in store displays
