The 2020 Toy Hobby and Licensing Fair opened on Sunday 1st March with over 4,000 retailers, exhibitors, media and buyers coming together at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Over 180 stalls were on show over the four days, with dozens of new exhibitors who added a wonderful new dimension to this flagship event along with return exhibitors who continue to add colour and excitement each year.

The first night of the Fair saw The Australian Toy Association hold its annual Gala Dinner at the Crown Palladium Ballroom with over 500 people witnessing the induction of David Tolmer into the Australian Toy Association Hall of Fame as well as Samantha Atkinson of Bensons Trading receiving this years’ Rising Star Award for her successes.

Widespread media coverage was secured across newspapers, TV, radio, and digital channels; including segments filmed by Channel 9 and Channel 10 during the Fair.

It was a fantastic four days and the ATA looks forward to producing an even bigger and better Fair in 2021!
