About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic retail partnerships within the toy and collectables sector. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and identifying new opportunities within key accounts.
The ideal candidate will have strong account management experience, a proactive sales mindset, and a passion for the collectables, gaming, hobby, or toy industry.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and develop relationships with key retailer accounts
· Drive sales growth through strategic account planning and category development
· Identify and secure new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
· Conduct regular account reviews, sales analysis, and forecasting
· Present new product ranges and potential retailer campaigns
· Negotiate trading terms, pricing, and promotional opportunities
· Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, operations, and buying teams
· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer performance
· Deliver exceptional customer service and ongoing account support
· Represent the company at industry trade shows, conventions, and retailer meetings
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and collectable product categories
About You
· Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development
· Experience within the toy, gaming, collectables, consumer products or hobby industry preferred
· Self-motivated with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
· Proven ability to grow and manage high-value customer accounts
· Ability to analyse sales data and identify growth opportunities
· Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
· Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills
· Passion for pop culture, trading cards, anime, gaming, or collectables highly regarded
